Moodle has a new look!
by Jennifer Spohrer - Over the weekend, we upgraded to Moodle 3.6, in time for the start of summer session courses. All of the functionality of the old Moodle is there, but there are several changes that make the site look different:
- The old Navigation and Administration blocks are now part of a left sidebar menu, which you can hide or show by clicking the menu button (three horizontal bars) at the top left of your screen.
- All other blocks are now in the right-hand side of the screen.
- The Edit Settings option for everything (Courses, Quizzes, Assignments, etc.) is now under the Gear icon in the upper right and NOT part of the left sidebar.
- You can now customize the Course Overview block on your Dashboard.
- New blocks on the Dashboard makes it easier to jump to courses you've starred or recently participated in..
New features include improved Messaging options (including an option to enable messaging for Groups in a course) and the ability to add files such as images and recorded messages to Assignment feedback.
